After brainstorming and scouring Pinterest for ideas, the NMSU Her Campus team got together during the weekend to prepare goodies for the event. These included Oreo pops, no-bake truffles and cupcakes. There was also a photo booth with handmade props that guests could enjoy posing with.

After a short speech by the team’s campus correspondents, attendees were able to mingle and meet new people. The event was a success, with more than 20 attendees coming to celebrate with the team!

The event was held in NMSU’s Center for Latin American and Border Studies, also known as the Nason House- a beautiful and historic home on campus that has held many Latin American and border-related events in the past.
