HC: How would you describe yourself?

BW: An easy going, hard working, jokester.

HC: How do you balance your schoolwork while having so many other obligations?

BW: It can be very difficult at times, but the key to me is to be as attentive as possible in class. I also make sure that when I actually do have free time, I use it for schoolwork.

HC: What motivates you to be the best version of yourself?

BW: I hate mediocrity and being average. I guess that motivates me to be the best version of myself.

HC: Who is the most influential person in your life?

BW: My parents are the most influential people in my life. They gave me an awesome childhood and prepared me perfectly to succeed in college and beyond. I am forever grateful for that.

HC: What’s one thing you cannot live without?

BW: Birthday Cake Oreos.

HC: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten, and who gave it to you?

BW: “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.” It was from a video that went viral and the quote is by Eric Thomas. It’s not necessarily “advice,” but the quote does get me through some times where I feel overwhelmed with school, baseball, or anything for that matter.

HC: What’s one experience you have had that has changed your perspective on life?

BW: Being in Murphy’s the night of the shooting was pretty eye opening and scary. I would definitely say I take a lot less for granted because crazy things can happen at unexpected times.

HC: What’s on your bucket list before you graduate?

BW: I have been lucky enough to have crossed a few things off already, but if there was one thing I’d say it would be to win a SUNYAC Championship for baseball. However, this is very difficult considering the defending national champion, Cortland, is in our division but, anything is possible.

HC: How do you envision your life five years from now?

BW: Five years from now I envision myself in either a high paying sales job or in a high ranking administrative position in the athletic department of a college.
