What are you involved in on campus?
Throughout my first two years of school, I have been involved in many things around campus! In my first year, I was involved with RAC, Intramurals, Psychology Society, and the Society of Undergraduate Research. In my second year, I was an icebreaker (I didn’t break ice though; I smashed it), a member of Hiring and Recruitment, a Coach at Special Olympics KW, and joined Winter Carnival (#wonders)! Now in my third year, I am involved with a majority of the things I was a part of in my first two years, as well as being a Campus Ambassador, and being a note taker for one of my courses (if that counts, I really don’t know)! Something I would like to join in the future is Grillfrid Laurier, so I have the opportunity to grill all of the meat in the world.
What advice would you give to someone who is looking to get involved on campus?
I would tell them to find something they love and have a passion for, and to get involved in a club or association that helps you follow that passion! If there is not a club or association out there that involves your passion, I would recommend starting up a new club so those with similar interests can also join!
How would you describe yourself in one word?
Bodacious.

Compassionate.
Are you a cat or a dog person?
Oh this isn’t even a question. Who doesn’t love an animal who loves peanut butter as much as I do? I always enjoy relaxing with my dog, Cooper, and sharing a nice table spoon full of peanut butter with him. If that isn’t a man’s best friend, I don’t know what is!
What song are you most likely to sing at Chainsaw?
Since You Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson. This song really gets my heart pumpin’. It shows my true colours! #kellyismygirl
If you could spend one day doing absolutely anything, what would you do?
I would probably sing a duet with Kelly Clarkson. Have an immediate bond with each other. Fall in love. Go on a sweet date. Smile, laugh, share memories with each other. Post a “cute” pic on Instagram with her to beat my record of likes. Kiss her on the cheek goodbye. This would all happen in one day. Oh yeah, then probably get married… but whatever.
What has been your favourite memory at Laurier thus far?
The first time I broke the ice (being an ice breaker) was definitely a memorable moment for me! I met many amazing people who are my good friends today, and I had many more opportunities to get involved after I did this. PS: I don’t break ice; I smash it!
What do you hope to accomplish before you graduate?
Before I graduate, there are many things I would like to accomplish. One of them being completing the Godfather challenge at Mel’s Diner (6 pound cheeseburger), so my cute lil face gets put up on the wall! But on a serious note, I would love to create friendships and memories that I will not forget as I get older and slowly have less and less fun in my life.
