The fall semester is in full-swing and midterms have somehow creeped up on us. Sometimes, we need to close the books, sit down, and watch a good show and because I care about you all, I have put together a fall TV schedule for every day of the week! I have broken down all the details about every show (including which actors we can crush on because that’s always essential) and even included links so you can catch up on previous episodes. You’re welcome!
Monday
Gotham
Who to crush on: Benjamin McKenzie and Morena Baccarin (you might know her from Homeland)
What: This show provides us with the origin stories of some of our favorite Batman characters. It mainly follows Detective Jim Gordon on his quest to save his beloved, but corrupt, city of Gotham. This season has been titled “The Rise of the Villains” and so far, we’ve seen Penguin, Joker, The Riddler, and a few more characters in their early days of infamy.
When: Mondays at 8 p.m.
Where: FOX
How to catch up: Season 1 is on Netflix and you can watch the first four episodes of Season 2 here
Â
Tuesday
Chicago Med
Who to crush on: Colin Donnell and Yaya DaCosta (America’s Next Top Model, anyone?)
What: If you love Law & Order (and executive producer Dick Wolf) then you’ll definitely want to be on the Chicago Med bandwagon.  This is the newest show in the Chicago franchise on NBC but don’t worry, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire are only loosely connected to each other so you won’t be lost. There’s no need to watch the other shows but I do highly recommend it!
When: Series Premiere is on Tuesday, November 17 at 9 p.m.
Where: NBC
Â
Wednesday
American Horror Story: Hotel
Who to crush on: Just about every guy on the show. Let’s see, we’ve got Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Evan Peters, Max Greenfield… shall I go on?
What: The fifth season of this creepy anthology series has just begun, this time telling the story of the mysterious Hotel Cortez. There are some amazing actors who have been added to the cast and who have returned including Lady Gaga (who has some amazing acting chops btw), Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, and Denis O’Hare.
When: Wednesdays at 10 p.m.
Where: FX
How to catch up: The first four seasons of the show are on Netflix but since every season has a different plot, watching all four is optional (but also highly recommended!). You can watch the first two episodes of Hotel here
Â
**Bonus Must-Watch: Empire, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on FOX**
Â
Thursday
Heroes: Reborn
Who to crush on: Zachary Levi. Enough said.
What: This is a reboot of the original Heroes series that ended a while back. It features almost all of the original cast and some new faces as well.
When: Thursdays at 8 p.m.
Where: NBC
How to catch up: The original Heroes series is on Netflix and you can watch the first five episodes of Reborn here
Â
**Bonus Must-Watch: Shonda Rhimes’ #TGIT on ABC which includes Grey’s Anatomy at 8 p.m., Scandal at 9 p.m., and How to Get Away With Murder at 10 p.m.**
Â
On Fridays, we watch Netflix
There has been a huge surge in popularity for Netflix’s myriad of original series. Check out the classics if you haven’t already like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black or some of the newer ones like Narcos, Bloodline, and Daredevil.
Â
Saturday
Saturday Night Live
Who to crush on: Taran Killam is forever my childhood crush (Anyone remember Disney’s Stuck in the Suburbs?)
What: Well we all know what the premise of SNL is but this season is a must-watch. Whenever anything political is happening (*ahem* like a presidential election), this show is on fire. There have also been some great hosts so far like Amy Schumer and Tracy Morgan and on November 7, Donald Trump!Â
When: Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
Where: NBC
How to catch up: You can watch clips, never-before-seen sketches, and full episodes here
Â
Sunday
Quantico
Who to crush on: Josh Hopkins and Priyanka Chopra
What: This new series follows the lives of FBI recruits training at the Quantico base in Virginia. Of course, they’re all really good looking and of course, some of them end up making out. How could we have a drama without romance?
When: Sundays at 10 p.m.
Where: ABC
How to catch up: Watch the first three episodes here
Happy Watching!
