Whether you loved your sibling from the second your parents told you you were going to have a new friend or hated them from the start, your sibling will now and always be a part of your life. Whether you liked it or not, you learned more life lessons than you can think of, but the experience is something special.

12.  You’ll have less space everywhere you go.

14. The mistakes you make when you were younger are not as big of a deal as you think they were.

17. Every move you make, you are setting an example for your sibling if you like it or not.

20. You have to learn how to let your sibling grow up on your own.
21. Parents learn from the mistakes they make with you to improve your sibling’s life.
22. Sometimes your younger siblings know more than you, and that is okay.
23. You learn that is okay to ask your younger sibling for help, even though they are younger than you.
