The BLUU can be a great place to meet up with friends and eat burgers and soft serve, but when you eat there day in and day out, it can be nice to have a little variety. FEAR NOT! Just because you’re tired of BLUU food doesn’t mean you need to resort to the Cheez-its in the vending machines downstairs or the CLIF bars you save to scarf down on your way to your 8 a.m.!
Here are some quick, affordable, and easy recipes to make in the comfort of your own dorm!

Omelet in a Mug
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 tbsp. skim milk
- 1 tbsp. of grated cheese
- 2 tbsp. diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp. diced onion
- Salt/pepper
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in mug, whip until the ingredients are well mixed.
- Microwave 1 ½ to 2 minutes.
- Enjoy your omelet in a mug!

Taco in a Bag
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of Doritos (flavor of your choosing)
- 2 tbsp. of shredded Mexican cheese
- 2 tbsp. of shredded lettuce
- ÂĽ cup of taco sauce
Directions:
- Microwave taco sauce until warm.
- Squeeze bag of Doritos until slightly crushed.
- Pour in taco sauce, cheese, and lettuce.
- Grab a fork and dig in!
Mac in a Mug!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup of pasta
- ½ cup of water
- ÂĽ cup of milk
-  ½ cup of shredded cheese
Directions:
- Combine water and pasta in a mug.
- Microwave for 2 minutes.
- Repeat this for at least 2 to 4 more minutes, stirring at each 2-minute interval. Eventually the water will be completely absorbed in the pasta and the pasta will be cooked through.
- After the pasta is cooked to your liking, stir in milk and cheese.
- Eat up!

Bagel Pizza
Ingredients:
- One plain or asiago cheese bagel
- Tomato sauce or tomato paste
- Shredded cheese
Directions:
- Cut bagel in half.
- Toast the bagel (optional).
- Spread tomato sauce/paste evenly on both halves of bagel.
- Sprinkle the cheese on top of both halves.
- Microwave for 1 ½ minutes.
- Enjoy your bagel pizza!Â
Nutella Mug Cakes
Ingredients:
- ÂĽ cup of all purpose flour
- ÂĽ cup of Nutella
- 3 tbsp. of milk
- ÂĽ teaspoon of baking powder
- Ice cream (optional)
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients into your mug and stir until the mixture is even and smooth.
- Microwave 1 to 1 ½ minutes.
- Once cooked all the way, throw a scoop of ice cream on top and enjoy!
