We are always waiting anxiously for the fashion weeks seasons all around the world and, three weeks ago, our wait was over and now we are avidly following each detail from the international runways. New York, London and, finally, Milan, which brings fashion shows that are amazing to be watched, once with Versace, Gucci, Armani, Prada, Missoni, among others, there is no possibilities of a weak show. Besides that, we should give an especial attention for the themes of the fashion shows and for the designers’ creativity that diversified the collections and turned the shows even more fashion.
There were five intense days of a lot of fashion in the Italian capital: new trends, shows that got everyone excited and creative street style looks. In matters of trends, Milan Fashion Week’s unanimous bet was doubtlessly the stripes: vertical, horizontal, diagonal, wide or thin. They showed up even on accessories. There were also trends such as pastel colors, tailoring and mix of prints: classy, elegance and fun were the words at this season of fashion shows in Milan. The best thing is that all the new trends are adaptable and easy to wear on our Collegiate everyday life!
Veddiamo i hightlights!
Stripes
Every fashion week classifies new trends and, for the upcoming summer 2016, Milan’s runways defined the stripes as the biggest bet. Horizontal stripes, vertical, thin, wide and colorful: options for a classy and fun style. Giorgio Armani bet was for the navy stripes. This trend is super easy to adapt to our everyday Collegiate outfits!
Militar Versace
Versace’s collection was presented, literally, by a models army. Beyond the important names as Gigi Hadid and Carol Trentini, the collection was completely based on militarism. Military green and camouflaged prints completed the sexy and powerful Donatella Versace’s fashion show. Girls, we rock!Â
“Italia is love”
The fashion show of Dolce&Gabbana was a dream! An amazing prove of love for Italy, the cradle of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Italian cities were printed on wide dresses as a tribute for the country. Beyond the tribute for the homeland, the collection was full of feminine looks, which was composed with midi skirts, flowers prints, and the traditional embroidery from the brand. Â
Gender Neutral + Geek style from Gucci
The second collection by Alessandro Michele for Gucci was a prove that the designer has personality and his own style. He continued his idea of gender neutral, presenting looks that can be worn by women and men with the tuxedo tailoring. He’s also preserved the geek style trend, marked by big and square glasses. There was also a feminine touch with transparences and midi length. Â
Rose Quartz
The color, defined by Pantone as reference for summer 2016, is the rose quartz, which had already been highlighted at New York Fashion Week. At the Milan’s season, the Emporio Armani presented the color masterfully.Â
The Moschino’s show
Each Moschino’s fashion show is a new surprise! The beloved designer in fashion word knew how to link fashion and fun and each season, the success of Jeremy Scott in partnership with Moschino increases. The 2016 summer collection was inspired on car-washes and there were transit plates and a reference on traffic officer’s uniform. The productions were clicked by fashion girls and shared on social networks. Instagram got fun and colorful.
Street Style
In all the fashion weeks, one of the funniest things is the style diversity on streets. In Milan, fashion people taught how do make a mix of prints and textures, dared about accessories and gave us live classes of fashion production. We definitively love street style.Â
Arrivederci, Milano! See you next season.
