1. Who is your Hollywood crush and why? “Back in the day? Lizzie McGuire (Hillary Duff.) Now I’d have to say Mila Kunis. Why? It may be the characters she plays in movies. Or just her smile. She’s enchanting in every way.”
2. Could you describe your ideal date for us? “Well… the ideal is difficult. Every date is ideal with the right company. But if I’d have to choose, I’d like cooking together. Homemade pizza. (Opens the option of a flour fight.) Then eat the pizza… while watching the sunset… on a beach… in a hammock… with a glass of wine. Or we could start things off classy (Perhaps a private booth at the Scala in Milan to give an example). Then end it off with Netflix and chill.”
3. Can you tell us something your friends don’t know about you? “I sleep with a blanket my Nonna knitted for me… Sarai sempre nel mio cuore Nonna.”
4. How do you spend a typical day at YorkU? “I spend the day thinking about the next day.”
5. Who is your role model in life and why? “I’ve got many… Tommy Douglas, James Reimer, my family… all for different reasons. Mainly because of their resilience.”
6. What would you like to be doing in five years? What are your long term future goals? “I honestly don’t have a clue… but I know whatever it is, I want to be contributing to some kind of greater good. In terms of the long term? Well, to live long.”
7. What qualities do you think make you a Campus Cutie? “Again, not a clue here. They probably ran out of time. Or put names in a hat. But I will say that I have few enemies…”
8. What are your feelings on being Her Campus YorkU’s first official cutie? “Humbled to demonstrate that it’s what’s on the inside that counts.”
9. Any advice for freshmen to survive university life? “Lose yourself to find yourself. Then do it again.”
