HC: What is your favorite Marist Memory?

TL:  Freshman year, we used to have bathroom dance parties to uptown funk.  People would be dancing and I would be on the lights flickering the switch.  It started with just my closest friends but then we would make anyone who walked in join. 

HC:  Did you go anywhere fun this summer?

TL: I went to Orlando, Florida with the fam.  That was fun. I died going to Harry Potter world! I wish I went to Hogwarts instead of Marist. Although everyone has been saying Marist is Hogwarts. The attention to detail was ridiculous! It was the perfect way to end the summer with my family before coming back to school.

HC: Tell me something interesting about yourself?

TL: I have been dancing for 16 years.

HC: What kind of dance?

TL: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, you name it.

HC: Are you in the Dance Ensemble here at Marist?

TL: Yes, Dance Ensemble was probably the first thing that made Marist feel like home.  Dance is such a big part of my life and being able to continue that at Marist gave me consistency.  I have met so many of my best friends through the dance ensemble and it’s probably my favorite thing about Marist.

HC: Tell me about your girl Soneda?

TL: Soneda is bae.  She is BAE.  She is one of the Sodexo workers and is one of the funniest people I think I have ever met.  She actually takes the time to get to know people’s names and has a great sense of humor.

HC: What is your biggest pet peeve?

TL: Oh wow…I don’t know.  I just find people generally annoying so it’s hard to pin-point just one thing.  Okay, I’ll have to say when a girl misses a curly piece of hair when straightening it.  Especially when it’s in the back, it drives me nuts!!!!

HC: What’s your most embarrassing moment at Marist?

TL: Freshman year when I was going to visit my friend in Champ, the security guard asked while I was swiping in where I am from and instead of saying Leo I told him I was from New Jersey.  Yup, that happened…rookie mistake.

HC: Most attractive quality for a guy to have?

TL: I think one of the best qualities a person can have is the ability to make another person laugh! And I don’t know what it is but I am huge on smiles.

HC: What is your favorite spot on campus?

TL:  Behind Hancock on the patio.  Starbucks is within walking distance and there is a gorgeous view.  My friends and I spend hours behind there sitting at the tables doing homework.

HC: What’s your Favorite Movie?

TL: Favorite Movie is the Heat because I can laugh at Melissa McCarthy all day long!

HC: Are you single and ready to mingle?

TL: Absolutely!
