HC: What made you apply to Twilly P? And whats the hardest part of your job?
CC: I applied because I thought it was such a cool opportunity. I followed Twilly P after freshman year orientation and I always loved the way that they brought the Willy P community together in such a unique way. In terms of the hardest part of my job I’d have to say it’s challenging myself to come out of my shell more often and building upon my networking skills. However the hardest part has also been the best part! I’ve already met such great people in the short time I’ve been working for Twilly P. Getting to connect with so many different people on campus has been an awesome experience for me.
Â
HC: Whats your favorite part about Willy P and what makes you motivated to stay so active here on campus
CC: My favorite thing about Willy P is our diverse student body, There are so many people here from so many different walks of life and although we’re all very different we all have the same intrinsic motivation to reach our goals and better ourselves. I think that everyone here works so hard for what they have and what they do. There’s a vibe here on campus, and you feel the motivation in the air it’s hard to not stay motivated in an environment like that.
Â
HC: What’s your dream job?
CC: My dream job is to work for GLAAD and for those who don’t know it is an organization that essentially holds media accountable for its representation of LGBTQ people. I’m very passionate about media and LGBTQ rights, so GLAAD combines my two primary passions which would make for an ideal career for me.
