We heard you were selected for Team USA. What does being a member of this team mean?Recently I was selected for the U20 Team USA Roller Hockey, which was a complete honor. This summer, we will play overseas in Rosario, Argentina for the World Junior Championship. It is a thrill and extremely humbling to be able to represent my country in the games.

How are players picked for that team? They are picked through an application process, with the coaches scouting the players throughout the years.

What teams do you play? When?In our pool play, we drew Italy, Korea, Brazil, and Czechoslovakia. Depending on how we seed after those games will determine who we face in the playoffs. The team will meet in Miami, Florida and catch a flight to Argentina on June 4th and will play until June 12th.

How did you get into playing hockey?I grew up traveling all up and down the east coast watching my brother play. He needed a target to shoot at in the front yard, and that became me.

What is your favorite part of being on the Cougars Ice Hockey team? The bond between the group of guys we have is amazing, and anyone who has been around the sport knows there is nothing better than being on the road with a close knit group of guys.

Fun fact about your hockey career?I led the Empire Junior hockey league in minutes played in my rookie season.Â
