HC: What’s your idea of the perfect date?
AD: The perfect date would be something low key. Casual dinner and hanging out on the beach for a sunset.
HC: Who is your celebrity crush?
AD: Brian Littrell, yes the Backstreet Boy.
HC: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
AD: I would love to go Australia.
HC: What made you want to be a social work major?
AD: I love to help people and social work is a way to help many different kinds of people in many different ways.
HC: What made you travel all the way from Maryland for school? What is your favorite thing about UNCW?
AD: I am a transfer student, so I started at a small school in Maryland. After my second year there I decided it wasn’t the place for me and the major I was studying wasn’t for me either. I explored schools with social work programs and UNCW fell into place. I love that there is so much to do at UNCW and in the city of Wilmington.
HC: What are your plans after college? What’s your dream job?
AD: I would love to go work on a cruise ship for a few years, sail around and have fun with people that want to have fun. Using my degree however, I want to end up working in the adoption and foster care system, finding wonderful homes for children.
