It’s time for a throwback! Our very own Keisha Branch is our campus cutie for this week! Look back on what she says about her love for Ireland as she’s studying abroad this fall in Dublin! Dreams do come true!

Name: Keisha Branch

Age: 21

Year: Senior

Major: Sociology with a Minor in Gender and Society

Hometown: Petersburg, VA

Hobbies: Crocheting, singing, talking to strangers, learning different languages, and hugs/rubbing elbows

Activities: Cheerleading (it’s a sport), CRU, Student Ambassador, B.S.A., Campus Safety Advocate, Fashion Club, LIST Club, and Her Campus

Relationship Status: Married to Jesus (unless a Ginger comes along)

3 words to describe yourself: Caring, extroverted, and indecisive

What qualities do you look for in a guy?

  • Preferably a ginger, though others are welcome
  • Must have really nice eyes because I love looking in the eyes
  • The ability to shake a tail feather because I love to dance
  • Caring, but they should be strong
  • Funny and honest, of course

What is your favorite or most embarrassing college memory so far? Falling/skidding down the Rowley hill when it was warm and the ground was clear. I ripped my pants, busted my knee, and bled a lot… in class.

Explain your obsession with gingers and Ireland. Okay, I’m not sure if anyone has really studied them, but they are probably the most beautiful people on this earth. And I’m sure this sounds weird, but they’re so different. They’re so hipster because they go against the norm of brown/blonde hair and don’t care! They’re so unique, and have amazing souls (for the people that don’t think they have one). Now Ireland. Ireland is so absolutely beautiful and people underestimate it because it’s so small! People think they’re all drunks and depressed, but they’re not! They live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and have an endless amount of beer and potatoes. What’s not to love?

What’s your spirit animal and why? A goat. Yes, it’s weird but I saw this photo on Twitter one day and they were climbing a mountain and they were so calm about it, because it was something they did for a living. They were so persistent about it too! Also, I’m a Capricorn.

Favorite place in the world: Ireland and sometimes home.

Celebrity Crush: Liam James Payne of One Direction.

Hot or Not?

  • Sagging? N O T.
  • Personality glasses? Only if you’re a true hipster. But if we’re both blind we can wear prescription glasses together.

This or That?

  • Chicken or fish? CHICKEN, though I’m vegetarian for the moment.
  • Free tuition or a shopping spree? FREE TUITION… I’m poor.

If you could have one super power, what would it be? The ability to teleport. I just really want to travel!

It’s a Saturday night, where can you be found? Usually wherever I end up. My weekends never go as planned, so I’m down for whatever! Hopefully it involves music and dancing!

What’s your life motto/favorite quote? So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:34
