Major: Environmental Sciences (current), Finnish Language (before)

Interests: Getting myself in awkward situations. That’s what I do most of the time.
How does it feel to start studies at a new faculty?
It feels absolutely great because I noticed last year that humanities are not for me. Though I’m still going to miss all those lovely people I came to know.
What’s your favorite word in Finnish?
Oh, there are so many! But for example irvokas (=grotesque), peijooni (=rascal, darn!) and keripukki (=scurvy) are included in my “Favorite Words” -list (yeah, I have one). The last one’s there because I think it’s hilarious that a word like that can be the name of a disease (literally “shear-buck”).
Who would you trade lives with if you had to?
Maybe with my little brother. I’m never going to be as funny as he, so having his life might give me that magical power. And of course being my relative makes him almost as awesome as me.
Do you ever sing in the shower?
Of course! And at work and on empty streets too. The songs change in my head like in a radio broadcast but most likely you hear me singing best Finnish schlagers or Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”. Never ask why.
Give us the worst possible dating advice.
Simply don’t shower for a week before the date. Ten minutes and the date is over. I have to point out that I haven’t tested or experienced this one but I have no doubt it would still work.
