We live in the beautiful bluff country. Sure, at times we like to complain when our town gets boring and the winter months roll around to create a grey hue 24 hours a day. But perk up, Warriors. It’s time to appreciate this beautiful city! Check out these awesome photos.

“Because absolutely nothing can ever beat that sunset over the river or by the lakes after a long day. Winona beauty puts you right at peace,” says Maddy Smith.

 

Emma Sperr, a senior at Winona State University, took full advantage of the unlimited access to the kayaks, paddleboards and ice-skating that Lake Winona has to offer.

“Winona is so beautiful at night, right after the first snowfall. You really can’t beat coming out of a night class and seeing this view,” says Rachel Potter.
