Phases of Getting to the Gym and the Workout

When Netflix asks you if you’re still watching

And all of a sudden you realize you haven’t left your bed today

And it’s like 3pm

So you gather up your strength

And begin the process of going to the gym

First, you’ve got to decide what to wear. Is this shirt clean?

So you drag yourself outside and catch blue line, because you’ll be working out at the gym, right?

You get dropped off, and saunter inside, ready to go

Where you promptly realize there is a mile long line for the treadmills.

So you decide to go lift some weights

And realize that everyone knows what they’re doing… except you

So you covertly stare at the only other girl downstairs, trying to copy her moves

Except your weights are way too heavy, and you get in a solid two reps

You preserve! And finally, your obligatory 30 minutes is over.

And you can go back to the real world

Aka girl’s night in.
