A Guide To Surviving Finals, as Told By Barney Stinson

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Finals season is upon us, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed by assignments and exams. But not to worry, we have all the tips you need to survive the final push of the semester!

Before you settle down and start to study, you have to get some fuel in your system. A delicious Chipotle burrito never fails to fill you up! It will keep your hunger from distracting you from answering all of your tough study guide questions.

Next you have to actually get yourself to the library, which can be a burden in the spring. Everyone knows the saying “April showers bring May flowers.” When you look outside and see pouring rain, it may make you feel like this:

But, if you throw on an adorable BooHoo poncho, that walk through the storm will feel like a stroll in the park, and you’ll end up at the library without a raindrop touching your skin!

After a few hours of studying, you may need a break. Exercise is a great productive way to relieve stress during finals. Since you surely have a lot to do, Crunch Live is the perfect way to get a quick workout in without having to leave your dorm room! You’ll feel energized and ready to continue getting ready for finals.

Sometimes you need to take a more relaxing break. You could do some online shopping at Chloe and Isabel, or pick up the new Her Campus Guide to College Life and do some light reading. Whatever you choose, be sure to take some time to completely relax and get your mind off any work you may have hanging over your head.

Eventually you have to get back to studying, and as the test gets closer you may start to panic.

You may even start to feel like your head is going to explode with information.

But, don’t worry too much. Soon finals will be over and you will be able to enjoy your carefree summer break! Don’t forget to #CelebrateYourself and all of this year’s accomplishments!

All of the brands here, as well as Nicole Lapin and Blink Tattoos, are our amazing sponsors for our Summer version of the #HCSurvivalKits. Be sure to check out all of their awesome products to help you power through the stress of finals week. Good luck!

Emily Boches is currently a student at Boston College, majoring in Communications with a minor in Philosophy. She is also hoping to become a Veterinarian in the future. Emily is originally from Massachusetts, just 30 minutes outside of Boston. Her small city lies right on the coast where the beach is no more than 2 minutes away. She spends her free time getting addicted to shows on Netflix (it happens to the best of us), napping, and taking Buzzfeed quizzes.
I am a Political Science major and Women's and Gender Studies minor at Boston College. I am an RA on campus and am involved in the Student Admissions Program. Since I am from Florida, I can legitimately say that I love long walks on the beach. I also love getting lost in a world fabricated by a novel, there is honestly nothing better.
