HC: How do you feel about being nominated as a Campus Cutie?

CM: I feel so honored!

HC: What do you look for in a guy?

CM: Nice, attractive, athletic, funny.

HC: What is your idea of the perfect date in Geneva, New York?

CM: Nothing too fancy, probably go out to lunch and then walk by the lake.

HC: What are you involved in on campus and what are you most proud of?

CM: Squash, I play number one. I’m also going to be a POAP leader this year.

HC: What has your experience on the Squash team been like?

CM: It’s a nice bonding experience with older people, and people who aren’t necessarily in your friend group. I get to hang out with a broad spectrum of people.

HC: What is something that is on your Bucket List?

CM: To climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

HC: Do you have a motto that you live by?

CM: Be happy!

HC: Who is your role model?

CM: Malala Youzafzai. She’s the girl who was shot in the head for standing up to the Taliban.

HC: What specifically about Malala makes her your role model?

CM: Her bravery to keep moving on and share her story to inspire people, and her strength to stand up to people who will oppress her.

HC: What is something that most people do not know about you?

CM: I lived in Japan for three years.

HC: When was that?

CM: When I was 6 months old until I was three, so sadly I don’t really remember it.

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

CM: Maybe getting my PhD in psychology. If that doesn’t work out too well, I could see myself working outdoors. Or starting my own ice cream shop and tea store.

HC: Has starting an ice cream and tea shop been a dream of yours?

CM: Yes, it’s always been a distant dream to open one, I think it would be really fun and cute. Hand made ice cream of course.

HC: Do you have plans to go abroad? If yes, what are you most excited to do while you are away from campus?

CM: Yes, maybe somewhere in Asia, like Vietnam. It would be fun to study psychology or IR there, but mostly to travel and explore the area.

HC: What do you hope to accomplish before you graduate?

CM: Doing well in school and making good friends. Having a memorable and positive experience overall!
