With the weather only getting warmer and summer quickly approaching it’s a great time to start planning activities to do this summer.  Preplanning gives you time to outline your to-do list for this summer as well as it gives you time to set a budget. This is also a great time to take advantage of not having the worry of school and having time to start on your bucket list. Begin by doing the first thing on your bucket list and work your way from there.

1. Adrenaline rush

Why not get a adrenaline rush this summer?  Yes, this sounds like sky diving! As crazy as it sounds, sky diving is as safe as driving or riding in a car. Not only are you jumping out of a plane ten thousand feet above ground and free falling up to one hundred and thirty miles per hour! You definitely will get an adrenaline rush that will last you for awhile, because sky diving is an experience like no other. Once you pull that parachute, the only thing you will notice is a phenomenal view of the sky with the clouds floating right beside you and the sun shining down to the ground.  Yes, now this is living!

2. Take a road trip

Sure enough almost everyone has dreamed of renting an old Mustang and taking a road all the way to California with their friends! Why not make that dream become a reality this summer?  It might not be your exact dream, but it’s still a great idea! Get some of your closest friends, split the expenses, rent a car if needed and go!

3. Key West

Take a trip to one of the hottest and best places to visit in Florida. Key West is an island in the Straits of Florida at the southernmost tip of the Florida Keys, and this amazing island is only ninety miles from Cuba. Although it may be expensive, with good planning and budget setting, this trip is more than possible! While down here, take a trip to DASH Miami, wear a bikini all day and pay a visit to the beach.

4. Go to a color festival

We all have heard amazing stories of color festivals but few have actually gotten the chance to experience it.  Make this summer a must and go to a color festival. You can escape reality and live a little all while being covered in paint in the midst of music basting side by side with the new people you will meet!

5. Enjoy your backyard

Take a time out of your everyday routine and go to a nature park right in your backyard!  You can take hikes, dive into lakes, camp out and appreciate the wonders of nature that we often seem to overlook.
