In honor of Women’s History Month, a co-ed 5v5 soccer tournament was held in the MAC last Saturday. The Bryant Men’s Soccer Team partnered with the ONE organization to host this event. ONE is “an international campaigning and advocacy organization of more than 6 million people around the world” that Bryant is proudly a part of.
Women’s History awareness was spread throughout the event. Posters with facts regarding Women’s Rights hung on the walls of the MAC and each cup of water had a fact written on it. The goal was to ensure that every participant of the tournament learned something new about gender equality or Women’s Rights.
Roughly 78 students participated in the tournament and about $300 was raised for the Men’s Soccer Team.
