What do you look for in a girl?
I like someone who has it together- independent, makes her own decisions, gorgeous. I don’t really have a hair type or anything.
What are you involved in on campus?
I helped start a fraternity last semester, Kappa Delta Rho. I’m also in Low Key, one of the two co-ed a cappella groups.
What do you in your free time?
I don’t have much free time. I like to eat a lot! I’m a big eater. It’s a big priority. I play volleyball and basketball with some friends, and I like to go to UREC and work out.
You said you’re in Low Key- how long have you been involved with a cappella?
We started our own a cappella group in high school my senior year when we got a new choir director. It was fun, so I came to college knowing I wanted to do that. My brother was in Low Key for five years, so it was a legacy thing too.
What kind of music do you listen to?
Pop, some Indie, it really depends on the mood that I’m in. I grew up to classics like John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and Dave Matthews Band. Sometimes I’ll like rock stuff like Mayday Parade or Blink 182. Then there’s hip hop–I like Chris Brown. I jam to Miguel in the shower all the time.
What music pumps you up?
I like anything on Yeezus, Kanye, Kendrick, Drake, all the new stuff.
Do you have any celebrity crushes?
Jessica Alba. She’s kind of old, and it’s a little unrealistic, but still. Sam Smith would be my man crush if I had one. His voice is just amazing.
What’s something about you that not many people know?
I’ve played golf since I could swing, but I don’t get to play it at JMU because I don’t have time.
What’s your favorite thing about JMU?
My favorite thing is the attitude of people. Like the quad when it’s warm outside is just magical. Knowing that if you’re having a bad day there’s always someone to help you is great.
What’s your favorite pickup line?
Dang girl are you my appendix, because I don’t understand how you work but this feeling in my stomach makes me want to take you out.
