Say so long to spring preak and your dignity that you may or may not have left behind in Mexico. As we’re welcomed back to campus by the melting of snow, it’s a reminder that summer is around the corner and the semester will be over in just a few weeks. With that in mind, here’s everyone’s favorite non-official Kardashian shedding his wit and charm on how we feel about the final stretch of the semester.Â
1. Everyone annoys you. Â People are walking too slow in front of you when you’re in a rush. Â Someone failed to hold the door to the dining hall one time last Wednesday and you’re still bitter. No one said “bless you” when you sneezed and that marks you’re breaking point.
2. You walk into class late, unphased and, quite frankly, impressed you showed up at all.
3. When you show up to a class whose final you get to opt out of because you aced the midterm.
4. When your professor reminds you of that huge final paper due on the last day of class that was assigned on the syllabus in the beginning of the semester…but you act like this is brand new information. “I only mentioned it once but expected you to remember it from 10 weeks ago,” said every professor, ever.
5. The level of sass is out of this world.
6. You’re sick of dining hall food, so I-Zone it is. Again.
7. The rise in temperature equals the fall of motivation for academics. Narragansett beach instead of marketing class, anyone?
8. You and your friends try to get together to work on a group project and it turns into prank calls and stalking people online. Â “Don’t work with your friends,” your professors said. “It’s not a good idea, you won’t get anything accomplished,” they pleaded. Oops. You knew it would end like this but nothing stops you and your bestie from trying.Â
9. You turn to extreme measures to get your work done in time. (Anyone have change for a $20?)
10. When you check your grades on Sakai and re-evaluate your life plans, goals, aspirations and dreams.
But, then you realize you can make a rebound with your finals if you just push through the pain and study. Â YOU CAN DO IT.
Summer is coming and if Scott can survive in the Kardashian clan, you can make it through the rest of the semester.
