What are your involvements on campus? “I’m a guitar player for the InterVarsity chapter.”
How long have you been playing guitar? “I’ve been playing since about 8th grade.”
What are your major career goals? “I want to do something like what my dad does. I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to live overseas and travel a bunch. So, what I want to do with that is go into international development and foreign aid. I just really want to help people and spread the love of God.”
What are your hobbies? “Besides guitar, I can do piano by ear and I can play a little bass. I like to climb, like hiking. I like to go running and I play different sports when I’m hanging out with friends like Frisbee.”
What is your favorite holiday? “I would say Christmas because Christmas is essentially the one time of year I get to see most of my family. Only my immediate family lives in Virginia, but the rest of them live in Wisconsin and the mid-west so it’s really cool I get to see them.”
Who is your celebrity crush? “You know, I really like Chris Pratt. I think he’s really cool.”
What is one thing on your bucket list? “I guess, one thing on my bucket list is to travel to every continent at least once. I’ve visited a few but I still haven’t reached Asia, Australia… and I think it’d be really cool.”
Are you a cat person or a dog person? “I like both, but I would say I’m more of a dog person. I grew up with dogs in my family, so I love dogs.”
Describe your ideal date. “First of all, we’d have dinner somewhere fun, unique. Then, we’d probably go to a movie or a concert together and then walk the streets for a bit. Just something simple like that.”
Describe yourself in three words. “Committed, loving, reliable.”
Do you have any dating advice you’d like to share? “I’m going to be a little clichĂ©Â on this one. You really do need to be yourself, but I think it’s more important that people don’t just settle for the temporary happiness. You need to find a person who can be always there for you, who’s going to be there through your best and your worst. And they care about you no matter what and they’re really passionate about your interests and they share them with you.”
