We as Johnnies love our school; we decided to commit to this school over all others for a reason. Of course no college experience is perfect; halfway through the first semester here we’re all walking balls of stress after trying to maintain that 3.0 GPA that retains our scholarships each semester and attempting to attend all of our extracurricular activity meetings all while trying to maintain a decent social life. You all know exactly what I’m talking about. If you don’t, here’s a rundown of the most annoying #StJohnsProblems:
- People using the printing desktops in Sullivan, DAC and Marillac to simply browse the internet, even though the school provides every student with a personal laptop.
- The common hour crowd struggle at DAC every Monday and Thursday.
- Having “Spring Break” when it’s still snowing outside.
- Rushing to get food at the Diner before meal exchange ends.
- Meal exchange options are very limited on the weekends.
- The fire alarm going off in your building at 3 a.m. because someone burned some popcorn.
- The millions of fliers shoved under your suite door promoting a party that you have no intention of attending.
- Having a break in between classes that’s not long enough for you go back to your room and take a nap.
- Everything at the Marketplace costs an arm and a leg.
- Almost twisting your ankle on the broken and the newly “fixed” stones.
