This spring, pastels are the big thing. Soft pinks, purples, blues, and greens are popping up in stores everywhere. When I think of pastels, though, I think of being a little girl again, dressed up for Easter. Read on to see how to pick out great pastel pieces, without looking like an Easter egg.

Dolly Coat (ASOS)

I know that a coat is the last thing that you want to wear/buy, but hear me out: spring typically starts out being a very rainy season. What better way to brighten up a rainy day than by wearing this pastel pink coat? It’s light enough for spring that you won’t be weighed down.

Pastel Trousers (Shopbop)

I know what you’re thinking: floral for spring? Groundbreaking. (A la Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada.) But these jogger pants are super comfortable, and they’re a great alternative option to wear out instead of jeans. As shown, they look great with beige heels!

Textured Floral Print Fit & Flare Dress (En Crème)

This fun, floral dress screams spring, and it’s really versatile. Pair it with beige pumps and a white cardigan for a fancier event, or white gladiators and a jean jacket for a daytime date, or walking around the city.

Verity Crepe Scallop Shift Dress (Misguided)

With the short hemline and mesh cutout, this pastel dress is definitely more collegiate age-appropriate. Perfect to wear with white strappy heels to wear to the many graduation parties coming up!

Viyella Petite Pastel Merino Cardigan (House of Fraser)

This lightweight, airy cardigan is the perfect pastel addition. Wear it during the days when it’s not scorching hot, or save it for nights after the sun goes down. Pair it with a white tank and jeans, or if you’re really want to go all out with pastels, pair it over a white top and white jeans.

Sarah Skinny Jeans (Articles of Society)

Pink, polished skinny jeans are a great way to rock the pastel trend without being overbearing. Wear them with a black or white top to keep the look from being too much. With sandals or ballet flats, they’re the perfect pants to wear to and from class!

Playing Sides Asymmetric Skirt (NastyGal)

You’ll look white hot in this playful skirt! Rock this skirt on a night out on the town with a black crop top and pumps, and you’ll be good to go.

Pointy High Heel (AX Paris)

Add some glam to your outfit in these pretty pink pumps. This website also has these shoes available in mint, beige, or a floral pattern. Whichever you choose, you’ll be ready to rock them for the spring season!
