A lot has happened in the world of fashion in the past couple of weeks! The final week of February (23rd-28th) brought with it the renowned Oscars and the gossip surrounding the amazing (and not-so-amazing) looks followed closely on, of course! The Elle Style Awards also took place and – the main event – London Fashion Week! All in all, the week was filled with show-stopping dresses, including the gorgeous dress that was fit for a princess that J-Lo stunned everyone with at the Oscars and not forgetting the more casual, chic looks worn by celebs on the front row at #LFW. It was an extremely difficult process, due to the sheer number of stunning looks, but we have somehow managed to select our favourite outfits of the week, as worn by our fave celebs:
1) Rosie Huntington Whitely- Elle Style Awards
Not many could pull off this Anthony Vaccarello dress, but at the Elle Style Awards Rosie looked simply stunning. The various materials of the dress combined with the unusual shape made it a distinct look, one which certainly made Rosie stand out. She was even named Model of the Year that very night, work it Whitely!
2) Jennifer Lopez- The Oscars
J-Lo wowed on the red carpet in this amazing jewelled, dusk-pink Ellie Saab dress. Now 45, J-Lo reminded everyone that she still has an amazing figure; her impressive cleavage is revealed by the low neck line of the dress, and the belt enhances her slim waist. Paired with a simple clutch, sleeked back hair and a popping pink lip, she definitely made the best dressed list of the Oscars 2015.
3) Kendall Jenner- London Fashion Week
Kendall Jenner attended the Topshop Unique show in LFW dressed head to toe in pastel. The blue slim-line pants are complimented by the white crop top, whilst the beige pointed heels and coat chicly resting on her shoulders piece the outfit together. Kendall of course had front row seats at the show and was seen cozied up next to Cara Delevingne. It’s alright for some! Other VIPs that attended the show included Alexa Chung and Jourdan Dunn.
4) Rosamund Pike- The Oscars
Gone Girl actress Rosamund Pike sported a dress that was as red as the carpet at this year’s Oscars. We love the flowery detail of the dress, as well as the sexy slit that reveals her red peep-toed heels. Rosamund balanced out the boldness of the Givenchy dress with simple make-up and an up do that exposed her striking collar bones.
5) Taylor Swift- Elle Style Awards
Taylor Swift looked show stopping at the Elle Style Awards, wearing an emerald dress with gorgeous black detail and a slit in the middle which revealed unusual yet amazing black block heels. She deservedly won the major award of the night, ‘Woman of the Year 2015,’ as previously won by Katy Perry. No need to shake that one off, Tay!
