Don’t Crash At The Bash!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winona chapter.

Nothing quite gets college students together like a good ole fashioned bar crawl. And here in SE Minnesnowta, it takes dedication to leave the house in the arctic weather…well, unless it’s dollar rails at Gabby’s.

We can thank our fellow Gabby’s bouncer and a seasoned bar crawl planner, Cody Poshusta-Schmitz, who has planned yet another stupendously stellar bar crawl. Except this time, WSU students are beach partying it up in the February frozen tundra. With spring break right around the corner, forget about your beach bods and sling back some drinks. Or as Cody says, “Get your liver in shape for spring break.” So crawlers, winterize your beach attire, throw on some leis, and put on your beach bar crawl shirts, because there’s about to be heat wave in downtown Winona.

So Winoners, why should you embark in the first annual Beach Bar Crawl?

1)   There is life outside of your bed and Netflix. Bare your body to the cold and warm it up with some tequila!

2)   Raise your tolerance for all of those Tequila Sunrises, margaritas and Sex on the Beach drinks you’ll be consuming over Spring Break.

3)   Who wouldn’t want an excuse to binge drink all day? I mean hello, it’s acceptable to take shots in the afternoon!

4)   You could win a keg. Ya hear that?! A FREE keg. Plus, bar tabs and cash prizes, but only if you bought a t-shirt! So, make sure to grab your tee.

5)   “Come get smashed at the bash!”- Cody
