6 Types Of Girls During Valentines Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Manhattan chapter.

The best/worst day in February, depending on how you feel about it, is just around the corner; Valentines Day. This poor holiday is the most loved/hated holiday on the calendar. Not everyone has a special someone to spend this “love”ly holiday with and that bothers some more than others. There are those girls who get through it gracefully and those who, well…don’t. However not every single girl is a bitter bitch and not every girl in a relationship loves this hallmark holiday. I present to you, the 6 types of girls on Valentines Day.

There is the classic single girl looking for love:

There’s the bitter, single girl who blames her lack of a Valentine on all boys sucking:

There are the single, but empowered girls who don’t need a man to make them happy:

That girl who has been in a relationship forever:

The girls who think Valentines Day is the most important holiday behind their birthday:

That girl in a new relationship who doesn’t know if Valentines Day applies yet:

Whether you have a Valentine or not, remember… It’s just another day. So if you’re in a relationship, spend it with you man! If you’re not, spend it with your girls (and maybe a box of wine)!
