Likes:
Rain, I love the rain. Most people’s responses are something along the lines of “you’re crazy” or “but you’re from California”, but let’s all celebrate the fact that the rain allows us to wear sweats all day. Yes, I also like to wear sweats.
Dislikes:
Days without coffee, it may have gotten to the point where I get headaches if I don’t drink it.
Are you involved in any activities on or off campus?
I am apart of the Health and Wellness Crew here at SU. It is my first year being apart of HAWC and I love it so far! I am also a senior on the SU soccer team as well as an Exercise Science intern, where I work with my team’s fitness data.
What is your best college memory thus far?
Well if I have to pick just one… It would have to be last year when our team made school history by winning the Western Athletic Conference tournament. Winning this tournament got us into the first round of the NCAA tournament, and if you don’t follow soccer, that’s a pretty big deal. Seeing the support we had from all of the students and faculty on campus was absolutely amazing and made my heart full with SU pride.
Do you have a role model or someone who inspires you?
My parents and best friend are my role models as well as my inspirations. My parents have taught me values that I carry with me always, along with their unconditional love and support. I have known my best friend, Reanna, since we were in kindergarten. She is always there for me and has a tremendous positive influence on my life.
What do you hope to accomplish after graduating?
I am not sure yet, but I am excited to figure it out!
If you could share any one piece of advice, what would that be?
College is a great time to figure out who you are and what you want in life. There will always people that will try to influence you and judge you, just be yourself and stand up for what you believe in.Â
