November 2nd officially brought on cold weather (aka not 50 degrees at 9 am and 75 by noon), and bobcats rejoiced! Not only does this warm my heart because it means long sleeves, but it also means getting to sport darker colors with absolutely no shame (not that I ever had any). Because we have basically had to wear the same attire since April, I thought some practical style inspiration was appropriate. Here we have my awesome sister, Avery, pulling off dark colors galore and exhibiting the 90s grunge trend that is absolutely perfect for this weather. My favorite part of this ensemble is that she tied a plaid shirt at her waste. Let’s be real, wearing a plaid button down became old around 2010, so this look is completely refreshing. With all this said, go embrace this weather by using it as a good excuse for my favorite pastime, shopping.Â
