7 Pairs of Shoes Every USC Girl Needs

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at South Carolina chapter.

Every accessory adds a certain touch to an outfit; but one category in particular, shoes, legitimately completes an outfit. As a college student, your hectic schedule is surely filled with a wide array of events, each necessitating a different footwear. Here are the seven types of shoes HC South Carolina has decided belong in any USC girl’s closet.

1. Nike Sneakers

These go-to sneakers are not only the perfect compliment to your norts, they’re also comfortable and supportive for when you only have 20 minutes to walk from Gambrell to the business school.

2. Cowboy Boots

Gameday, gameday, gameday! Get your boots on, kick up some dirt, and go watch some Carolina football. Nothing goes better with your gameday dress than cowboy boots!

3. The Black Flip-flop

It doesn’t matter where they’re from; these plain sandals will become your constant companion when you’re running errands with no makeup and the ever-so-fashionable messy bun.

4. Hunter Rain Boots

We all know Columbia loves a good rainstorm, and you’ll be happy to have a pair of these babies on when you get caught in one!

5. Jack Rogers

These flip-flops are indigenous to the South and match with almost anything you can think of. Whether you’re rocking jeans, shorts, or a sundress, your jacks got you covered.

6. Wedges

The perfect pair of wedges makes you feel classy and sassy all at the same time (as long as you steer clear of any misplaced bricks).

7. Chacos

The Chaco: maybe not the most fashionable foot apparel, but definitely one of the most comfortable. Whether your hiking a mountain or hiking up Barnwell St., you’ll wear these so often you’ll find yourself sporting the infamous Chaco tan.
