As sunny, happy, and beautiful some of the first weekends of September have been this school year, October started rainy, chilly, and sad. The paths of Harvard Yard filled with puddles this week; the colorful chairs stood abandoned. Tourists began buying Harvard sweatshirts and crimson-colored umbrellas instead of tanks and T-shirts. Students dug out their rainboots from their suitcases. However, as gorgeous as the Yard looks on a warm fall day with hundreds of bright orange, red, and yellow leaves, it still has its charm on these sad October days. Stay warm, invest in a cute raincoat, watch out for enthusiastic tourists poking you with their umbrellas, breath in the fresh air, and enjoy Harvard Yard!Â
