First of all, with your busy schedule how do you manage to keep your hair constantly looking so silky and well kempt? Dove shampoo; I found dove in a soap-less place. Rinse and repeat. This is a terrible answer.

Describe a typical day in the life: I take 15 minutes to get out of bed (I have arthritis – old man status), go to classes, enjoy club squash or a Sophomore Council Meeting, grab dinner with friends, get a game of FIFA in, hang out/do work/go out depending on the day, and re-read Dr. Bob Rotella’s book Golf is Not A Game of Perfect, which sits next to my bed.

What is your favorite thing about Yale? The support systems that are in place all around me… The residential college system with its deans and masters, my hounies, my FCC and SoCo families, and the close friends I have been fortunate to make in the past year who come from all walks of Yale life.

What is your most embarrassing at Yale? I fell into a large brown puddle on Elm Street right after the snow had melted, when I was giving an attempted head-nod to someone walking by. The water was knee-high at least, and I swallowed a ton if it. I tried to casually get up, and slipped backwards into it, causing the contents of my open backpack to fall into the mush.

Celebrity crush? Kim Kardashian.

How would you describe your style? I tried to shake off preppy, and now thanks to my mom I own multiple pairs of tighter pants. Problem solved.

If you were to take a girl on a date where would you bring her? I would take her to Mexico City where we could pig out on real tamales and enchiladas, then spend a day in Teotihuacan at the Pyramid of the Moon. Its where my parents got engaged—not only was my mom’s ring finger broken at the time, but she also knew that he was going to propose, since the box encasing the ring was sticking out of his pocket the whole day. Six weeks of dating was all it took to get there, and it was true love!

Dream Girl? Scratch golfer, foodie, a heart as warm as my sisters’, able to adapt to any social situation and make it work, and appreciative of a good kreplach soup. AKA Kim Kardashian :D

What’s your favorite place on campus? I think it will always be Old Campus. Even on the ugliest day with the worst weather and the most work to get done, I lose my breath when I see Harkness. It always reminds me how incredible this place is.

Favorite movie quote? “Attention campers, lunch today has been cancelled, due to lack of hustle” –Tony Perkins

What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done? After watching a movie with my arm around a girl for an hour at her house without making a move, I walked out to my sister and cousin who were waiting in the car outside. They forced me to turn around. And I did. I turned around and then explained to her that I “forgot my sweater”. We kissed in her stairwell. Afterwards, in my excitement, I tripped before making it back to the car.

Any guilty pleasures? Chipotle, FIFA, welikepeachrings on soundcloud, and watching House of Cards or Ben Stiller movies.

Where can we find you on a Saturday night? Ideally at sigep, where I have come to know such an awesome and multifaceted group of guys, and definitely ending up at G-Heav, attempting to speak Spanish with Adam.

What’s something about yourself that people at Yale wouldn’t know? For many years now I have been living in a household of women, with my sisters and my mom. My family members outnumber me when we vote on movie choices, and I admittedly teared up the other week watching Wall-E with my little sister. I have been trained, corrected, and have recited the response to “does this make me look fat?” In my house chivalry is definitely not dead; it’s demanded..

What’s your best Yale memory so far? Probably the freshman barbecue last year. It was an interesting time, because it was still early in the year (FCC’s first stint, shout-out to this year’s chairs) and I didn’t know too many people yet, but it was really just one of those awesome Yale moments you have every so often. Great weather, and got to see the class of 2017 in an informal setting for the first time.

Yale girls are best because… They know who they are, and aren’t afraid to act on it.
