Every fall we always hear about Pumpkin Spiced Lattes. There’s no denying that they’re delicious, but there are other drinks. Here are some other fall drinks to try that may be even better!
If you’re a chocolate lover, try this coffee with Nutella recipe.
What you’ll need:
1 cup of milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ teaspoon instant coffee
4 teaspoons Nutella
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 cup of ice
Optional: chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cocoa powder
1. Add all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
2. Garnish glass by putting chocolate syrup in glass. Pour in drink and finish with whipped cream and cocoa powder.
If you’re 21 and over, try this fun festive alcoholic drink.
What you’ll need:
1 ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream
½ ounce Green Apple Flavored Vodka
1 apple slice
1 teaspoon caramel
1. Add Bailey’s and Vodka into a shaker.
2. Shake with ice and strain into chilled martini glass.
3. Finish by adding an apple slice and caramel.
If you want a more healthy alternative, try this refreshing spritzer.
What you’ll need:
½ cup of raspberries
2 cups cranberry-raspberry juice
2 cups seltzer
2 tablespoons of lime juice
1. Put raspberries at the bottom of a pitcher.
2. Mix cranberry-raspberry juice, seltzer, and lime juice.
3. Pour into a glass and enjoy. (Makes about four glasses!)
If you are dedicated to having a pumpkin drink this season, try a pumpkin chai.
What you’ll need:
¼ cup and 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons male syrup
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon ginger
2 cups of milk
2 bags of black tea
1. In a small saucepan, add all ingredients except for tea bags and boil over medium heat.
2. Remove saucepan from heat and add tea bags. Let steep for 3 minutes.
3. Pour into a cup and garnish with cinnamon.
You can’t go wrong with classics. Here is a hot chocolate recipe that will be sure to keep you cozy.
What you’ll need:
½ cup sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
salt (to taste)
1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/3 cup boiling water
3 cups of milk
1 cup half-and-half
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: marshmallows
1. Mix together sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, with a dash of salt in a saucepan. Stir in boiling water, mix until sugar is dissolved.
2. Bring to a simmer at medium heat. Stir in milk and1/2 cup of half-and-half. Continue to cook and stir until hot (around 2 minutes).
3. Remove pan from heat and add the other ½ cup of half and half and 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla.
4. Pour into mugs and add marshmallows if desired!
