12 Tips to Survive The Fall Bar Crawl

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Winona chapter.

Winona States students will take the downtown streets of Winona on Oct. 4 for an outrageously wild Fall Pub Crawl.  This year students will fill Winona’s East Side bars and end their crawl in Downtown Winona at Gabby’s Bar & Lounge.  Gabby’s bartender, Cody Poshusta-Schmitz, arranged the crawl and is very enthused with the response he got from his fellow students.  Over 400 students are expected to participate in the Pub Crawl.  Happy crawling folks!

1. Start the day with Doses & Mimosas

2. Or a loaded bloody mary

3. It’s a marathon not a sprint #isprintmarathons

4. Crawl with the crowd

5. Snapshot photos.  You’ll want evidence of your day

6. Eat a protein packed dinner.  AKA get some Topperstix, Gabby’s popcorn or Market’s classic pretzels and mustard

7. Tequila will te-kill-ya, so make sure to rehydrate as you dehydrate

8. Dancing on the bar is certainly okay, just don’t crash & burn

9. Leave your morals at home (well not all of them)

10. Don’t want to become a celeb on WSU Passouts?  Then don’t passout at the bar

11. If you make it to bar close then you are a true WARRIOR

12. LASTLY: ABSOLUTELY NO DRIVING HOME.  True Warriors find a friend & walk home
