Acoustic Coffeehouses at Hamilton College

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Hamilton chapter.
As one of Hamilton College’s most popular events to go to, Acoustic Coffeehouses provide a great way for students to unwind towards the end of the week. Bringing big names on to campus, CAB frequently hosts these casual concerts, providing a laidback alternative for students to enjoy free music, complimentary Opus treats, and a raffle for a highly-coveted Clinton pottery mug. Past acts include Jukebox the Ghost and Gregory Alan Isakov, both of which were very popular within the Hamilton community.

The Lennings opened up with an acoustic set that provided a positive, mellow vibe for the show. Afterwards, Shakey Graves performed, bringing the audience on their feet and providing upbeat, alternative music to dance to. The Thursday night ended with an extra song performed by Shakey Graves, empty Chai cups, and a crowd of satisfied Hamilton student
