1. You finally get out of class
You’ve been counting down the last five minutes of your class and once your professor says “Alright that’s it for-” you are already out the door running to your room to get ready for the night.
2. You arrive at the party
Take a deep breath and fluff up your hair. You deserve this night and you’re ready for a good time!
3. You finally get inside the party
You hesitate to open the door because you really don’t know anyone there. But you hear music inside and your friend’s friend knows the guy so you’re good by association, right?
4. You walk in looking prime
You’ve spent the past four nights wrapped in sweat pants and old t-shirts staying up studying. You’ve whipped out the eyeliner, the heels, and straightened your hair! This night is yours.
5. The music gets you in party mode
Your favorite song is playing and you’re with all your friends, the excitement is building up so much you can’t even contain it.
6. You give in to the music
You made a promise to yourself not to dance on unstable objects tonight…but it’s just too much fun!
7. The night has taken you, it’s time to let it go.
Dance like an idiot, sing at the top of your lungs, make weird 2 hour friendships that won’t last until tomorrow, talk to that guy you’ve always found attractive.. who cares right?
8. Time for the group field trip to the bathroom
Rule number one of going out: never go to the bathroom alone, may the odds be ever in your favor if you do.
9. You finally get to talk to that attractive guy you have been eyeing all night.
In short, you really mess it up because you basically have about 16 minutes to impress him enough so he falls in love with you forever, and now you just don’t know what to say anymore.
10. The Downfall Begins
You’re still having a fun night, but your prime look is just getting too complicated to be comfortable in anymore. Either the hair goes up or that perfect top knot comes down. It’s all about the memories, not how bad you may look in your future Instagram pic.
11. The party runs out of drinks
The worst situation you could ever be in; still being at the party when the drinks run out.
12. You leave the party
You leave and of course forget some item of clothing, most likely your jacket that you put down for barely one second. And you don’t realize you’ve left without it until you’re walking home in the freezing cold.
13. Your plan to go home becomes way more complicated than it should be.
Thank God for that one friend who actually knows directions and finds the correct way to get home.
14. Your walk back suddenly feels like you’re training for the Olympics
Walking three blocks in heels… not a chance.
15. Time for the munchies
Anything that ends in “supreme” or starts with “chocolate” will do perfectly.
16. You go to bed and wake up to rally three hours later
Tomorrow is Saturday and you get to do last night all over again!
