What are your hobbies? I love to dance, run and just being outside. I love spending time with my friends and exploring the city. Also, as corny and typical as this will be, I do love my dance team (Drexel Fanaa). They are some of the craziest people you will ever meet.Â
Â
Are you involved in any student organizations? Drexel Fanaa, and I’m an Honors Mentor for the Honors Program
Â
What is your favorite part about Drexel? I like Drexel because there are so many opportunities here. There are so many clubs to join, people to meet, volunteer events to help out with. For example, I am now a part of a planning committee for a conference Aahana wants to have on campus here next year. I’ve meet some awesome people and it’s rewarding knowing that our hard work will shed some light on the horrible situations that plague people in other countries.Â
Â
Why did you choose Drexel? Many reason! I got into the accelerated Physician Assistant program here so that swayed my decision a lot since a lot of colleges in New York don’t really have PA programs. I also loved that I would be living in the city and that the Philadelphia and Drexel had a lot of opportunities waiting for me.Â
Â
What has been the best moment you have had here? It’s hard to pick just one! I’ve had a lot with my dance team and my friends. It’s been really awesome.Â
Â
What do you want to do after you graduate? I want to, if everything works out, become a Physician Assistant and work for the Peace Corps. I want to travel and work for aid groups around the world, specifically the ones in Afghanistan and Africa.
