To say Haley is an exceptional athlete would be an understatement. Just a few days ago the women’s track and field team placed fourth at PSAC Championships. Just to give you an idea of the type of athlete she is, she just broke her own school record in the heptathlon. Yea, you heard us right — she broke.her.own.record.

Her Campus: What are the events that you participate in?Haley Kramer: The heptathlon consists of the 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m, long jump, javelin, and 800m. (Basically, Haley is the bomb dot com)

HC: How long have you been running track?HK: I have run track every year since 7th grade.

HC: What is your favorite part about being on a BU athletic team?HK: There is a lot I love about it and it’s hard to pick just one favorite thing. If I had to pick, it would probably be all of the quality people I am surrounded by and get to meet.

HC: Do you have hopes to continue track competitively after college?HK: That would be cool but unfortunately, after college, I think my track career will end.

HC: What are your goals for your senior season?HK: Personally, I hope my last seasons of winter and spring track are full of PRs (Personal Records) and just overall great accomplishments. A goal our team has, as it is every year, is to win PSACs. With the members of our team next year, we definitely have the talent all-around, on the track and in the field, to accumulate points to win the whole conference.

Best of luck to Haley and the rest of the BU track and field team as they train for their next season!Â
