The grass is truly always greener on the other side, so when finals are over most of us cannot wait to get back home. We miss our friends, family and personally, my dog. However, the joy usually only lasts so long, and those amazing summer plans usually die out. Hopefully this year will live up to all of your expectations, but in case they don’t here is a little dose of reality.

Finals are finally over, which means you get to go home!

But then you have to pack up what seems like your entire life

Then you’re on a high because it’s summer and you’ve got big plans and insane standards

But these plans wait until after a four-day nap to catch up from finals week…

Your friends make a list with the common promise, “This is going to be the best summer ever!”

But simply end up drinking wine and watching Frozen or getting nightly fro yo

Your online summer course soon starts and you realize it’s going to put quite a damper on your day

You attend one great party and regain hope for the rest of the summer

Until the next night when you hang out with your mom…willingly

Boredom sets in after three weeks and you dedicate yourself to tanning

After a while you give up on your “SUMMER 2K14 BEST SUMMER EVER” bucket list, and accept that this is just another summer

But no worries because you now realize it’s almost time to get back to STAG COUNTRY!!
