Are you going home for Easter and tired of just dying eggs like you did when you were younger? Change it up this year by using these fun, new ideas that can make Easter Sunday feel exciting again.
If you’re looking for a fun gift to give to family, your significant other, a friend or even just something to eat for yourself, some yummy chocolate covered strawberries are the way to go. Instead of using the traditional brown chocolate use orange food coloring to dye white chocolate before dipping in the strawberries so they look like carrots!
Dying eggs can get old after a while if you run out of ideas on what designs to use or are getting tired of the same old plain color. Try cutting shapes like triangles or dots out of scotch tape and sticking them on the egg before dipping them in the dye. After the egg has soaked in the dye, take off the tape and there will be a white shape where the tape was.
Lightly cracking the egg before dipping it in a vibrant dye can also have a cool effect after you take the shell off.
If you’re having family over for Easter dinner and want an easy party favor to give out, buy some sugar cones and colorful malted milk balls or the Easter M&M’s, then fill the cones with the candy of your choice. Put the finished product into a little baggie and finish it off with a ribbon so it doesn’t spill. Voila! The cutest gift this Easter.
