Agnes Scott Black Ring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Agnes Scott chapter.

Agnes Scott Black Ring is not just a fashion statement or an acessory to showoff for the time being and then thrown away.

It is a timeless symbol and part of Agnes Scott’s history.

This ring has many meanings to inspire students to achieve greatness.

This ring symbolizes our unity and formation of the Scottie sisterhood that will live on for years to come.

There are many stories about how this ring has reunited former Scotties. People have recognized this ring and are excited when discovering that the person too is an Agnes Scott Scottie. Due to this ring people are reconnected, when normally they probably would have just walked pass each other.

The Black Ring serves as a symbol and reminder of the Agnes Scott community. I am glad that I was able to get one and I hope that everyone who has or will are too and will remember its importance.
