Getting tired of Valencia and X-Pro II filters? You’re not alone. Instagram is one of my favorite social media platforms. It gives a visual snippet of your life to the rest of the world. You may feel as if you’ve gotten into a slump, taking the same pictures of the same thing. Your likes on your pictures are dwindling. Here are some apps to revive your Instagram.
Picfx
Unfortunately this app is not free, but it is my go-to app for picture editing. There are so many filters and options for pictures and the combinations are endless. I think this should be a staple on every fashionista’s list of Instagram editing apps.
Afterlight
Afterlight is another cool photoediting app. You can also add special lighting effects for an old school Polaroid effect.
Fotor
Fotor has options to edit photos based on the venue that the picture was taken in. There are also countless filters and art filters such as an embossed effect or an engraving effect. You can also add text to your pictures!
Moldiv
One of the most creative aspects of this editing app is that along with the traditional frame set you can make with many pictures, you can also create your own collage! Here some of your favorite celebrities chilling in front of Gasson!
VSCOcam
VSCOcam is another advanced photo-editing app. I like this one because the filters are unique and make the photo look extremely professional.
Squareready
The purpose of this app is to make a picture the correct size for an Instagram post. It creates colored borders around pictures that you do not wish to crop into the Instagram-standard size otherwise.
Characters
This one isn’t a photo-editing app, but it is cool nonetheless. Have you ever wondered how people get those strange symbols in their captions? Here you can find a variety of symbols to spice up your Instagram caption.
Happy Instagramming!
