The USC website explains it all:
“Bruce Simons-Morton, one of the USA’s leading researchers in adolescent health risk and young driver road safety, is visiting USC as part of a collaboration with the University of the Sunshine Coast Accident Research (USCAR) team.
As part of that visit, USCAR is presenting ‘Tailgaters scare the cr*p out of me: understanding the young driver experience’, drawing on Senior Investigator Simons-Mortons’ research experiences, along with those of Associate Professor Teresa Senserrick (UNSW), Associate Professor Paul Salmon and Dr Bridie Scott-Parker (USC). The interactive seminar include presentations and tips from leading researchers in the field, a question-and-answer session from the audience, and the opportunity to chat one-on-one during morning tea. The seminar presents a great opportunity for anyone interested in young driver safety, particular L- and P-plate drivers and their parents, to learn more about driver behaviours and influential factors.”
