Her Campus: How long have you guys been together as a band?
Rusty Mailbox: We talked about the idea for a while, but the first time we actually jammed together as a band was the first week of January.
HC: Where have you performed in the past?
RM: So far, we have only played one show. It was at the Stone Pony on March 2.
HC: What are some favorite songs that you guys have played together?
RM: We typically play original songs. A couple of our favorites are called “Mary May” and “The Gym Teacher.” We also cover a Red Hot Chili Peppers song called “Special Secret Song Inside.”
HC: What are your post-grad plans?
RM: So far, we plan on playing together indefinitely. We’ll probably just keep writing music and playing as many shows as we can.
