On Tuesday, March 4, actor Jason Bateman graced us Bruins with his prescence in Ackerman Grand Ballroom for the free sneak screening of his new movie, Bad Words, of which he directed and acted in the leading role. The event was hosted by the Campus Events Commission, and reservations were available online until tickets sold out. After the screening, Bateman arrived for a short Q+A session, where students were able to ask him questions about his life and his other projects. So, here are some highlights from his Q+A session:Â
Bateman has not heard much information about the potential Arrested Development movie. He has thoroughly enjoyed working on the TV series, including the revival of the show that was exclusively on Netflix. His partner in crime, Will Arnett, is his real life buddy in that they hang out and watch the show together. His favorite chicken impersonation is that of Jeffrey Tambor, who plays George Sr. on the show. Bateman even did his impersonation of the said chicken dance.
Bateman also has an exciting project lined up, of which also stars Nicole Kidman. He is also directing this project, which will be a movie that will be eventually released in theaters.Â
