With Spring Break now just one week away, I’m sure many of you have started to freak out about what to pack. Fear no more! Just follow this list and you’ll make it through.
*This is meant to be satirical, do not follow this guide to pack from your break
This is enough for one week right?
Clothing:
- 7 bathing suits, I mean you need a different once to wear every day
- 7 dresses (just in case you want to wear a dress every day)
- 7 shorts (In case you decide not to wear a dress every day)
- 10 shirts (you need a least a few to wear as cover ups and then shirts to wear out)
- 4 pairs of flip flops
- 2 pairs of sneakers (one for the gym and one for walking around)
- 1 pair of snow boots (for heading to the airport and when you get back)
Other:
- Just bring all the makeup you have, no better way to show off a tan than to cover it up
- Your hairdryer, straightener, and curling iron/wand. You don’t know if the hotel’s are any good and you want your hair to look good before you jump in the pool
- Your entire nail polish collection – just in case you want to match your nails to your bathing suit
What Not to Bring
- Sunscreen, I mean spring break is for getting tan right? Bring on the rays
- A Book (Can you say nerd…)
So who cares if you have to pay $50 when your bag is overweight? Better safe than sorry right? I mean I’d much rather spend $50 on clothes than on my actual vacation.
But in actuality girls, my friends and I made it through a weekend in Paris with nothing more than a few clothes in a drawstring bag. It’s a vacation; you don’t have to look like you just stepped off the runway. Bring a couple of bathing suits, a few dresses, t-shirts and shorts, one nice outfit if you go to dinner and you’re ready to go. Have a great spring break everyone!
