Spring Break is almost here, and that means it’s time to hit the beach and soak up those rays of sun we’ve been missing these past few weeks. Of course, Spring Break wouldn’t be complete without the perfect swimsuit. Here a few dos and don’ts to remember when choosing your perfect vacation swimwear:
DON’T buy a swimsuit that will give you strange tan lines Try to avoid swimsuits with strangely placed cutouts and designs if you plan on tanning. Sunscreen can help avoid this, but then again, do you really want to have to explain those wacky tan lines to your friends for the next few weeks?
DO try a fun print Take advantage of all the fun prints that have been appearing on swimsuits, like floral and polka dots. Try mixing different prints for your bottom and top to create a more interesting look.
DON’T be afraid to wear a one-piece A one-piece swimsuit can be just as sexy and fun as a bikini! Be bold, and choose a graphic one-piece with a low back or one with interesting cutouts.
Do consider a high waist if you’re worried about your stomach area If you’re not completely comfortable baring your stomach to the world, then the high-rise bikini will be your new best friend this coming spring and summer. This trend has been making its presence known in many stores and is a slimming, flattering cut on any body type.
Have a fun and safe Spring Break, collegiettes™!
