Rachel Marteney 15′ : Alpha Delta Pi President

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WVWC chapter.

Rachel Marteney is a biology major with a minor in chemistry, while also pursuing the 5 year MBA program with a healthcare concentration. Rachel is the President of Alpha Delta Pi, she is also a member of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, National Society of Leadership and Success, and a member of the Wesleyan Ambassador Program.

While being involved in all of these organizations and maintaining high grades keeps her pretty busy, Rachel also enjoys traveling, reading, shopping, crafting, and baking.

Throughout her term as President of Alpha Delta Pi she hopes to continue grow their chapter at Wesleyan, and to continue to provide our sisters with a place to call home.

Rachel wants the chapter to continue to grow a strong network of sisters supporting them. She is beyond honored to represent her chapter and lead her sisters as the President.

Rachel plans to teach her chapter that they are stronger together than they are apart.

“Regardless of our differences, we all love this sorority and when we come together to reach a common goal, we accomplish great things,” said Marteney.

One thing she wants people to remember her by is her type of leadership, founded on encouragement and empowerment of those around her.

Whenever you see Rachel around campus be sure to give her a congratulations for all of her hard work and wish her the best! She’s going to do great things!
