NYFW Spring 2014 Trend Report

Fashion Week took place in Lincoln Center from February 6-13. Many new and borrowed spring trends graced the runways this season. We saw a comeback with collared shirts, fringe, metallic and floral patterns. These trends got a whole new update with more minimalist approaches and dainty touches.

New trends included inspiration from pop art and “game” or athletic pieces. The pop art trend was inspired by bright colors and bold patterns; Prada and Chanel were a few of the designers that emphasized this bold, unconventional trend.
